Why prompting advice ages
A brief is written for a checkpoint. Retune the checkpoint and the advice quietly stops applying, which is why every note here carries a date.
- Advice older than a model change may be describing a model you cannot select.
- Anything still true gets promoted into the guides.
- When a note and a guide disagree, the guide is current.
